Forever Full Jaw Dental Implants, provided by Dr. Murray Pratt and his team of UK registered dentists, utilize cutting-edge technology for precise implant placement using stackable guide technology. With this advanced method, we can efficiently place implants and fixed teeth in one hour or less per jaw in 95% of cases requiring it. This modern and precise approach is ideal for all-on-4 or any all-on-X rehabilitations, revolutionizing the full mouth dental implant procedure. an entire arch of teeth.

Answer: Dental treatment costs in the UK are often higher for several reasons:

  1. Regulation: In the UK, dental professionals are regulated and monitored by the General Dental Council, ensuring adherence to professional standards and patient protection. Dentists must stay updated with modern techniques and engage in continuous professional development. The Care Quality Commission also oversees dental clinics to ensure safe treatment environments. These extensive regulatory processes incur ongoing costs, which contribute to higher treatment expenses in the UK. While overseas territories may have regulatory mechanisms, they may not be as effective in safeguarding patients if something goes wrong. The level of scrutiny in the UK, although occasionally burdensome, is ultimately in place to prioritize patient safety.

  2. Staffing Costs: The UK enforces minimum wage requirements for all staff. Additionally, the highly skilled dental professionals in the UK receive higher salaries commensurate with their expertise. In contrast, some overseas countries, such as Eastern Europe and Turkey, have lower wages for dentists, nurses, and dental technicians. This variation in compensation can impact the quality of clinics, sterilization standards, and staff proficiency.

  3. Cost of Living: The cost of living in some overseas countries is significantly lower compared to the UK. This lower cost of living allows dental clinics in those regions to offer treatments at a more affordable price.

  4. Computer-Guided Procedures: Most overseas operators do not provide fully computer-guided implant delivery, which involves meticulous pre-planning on computer screens to precisely execute implant procedures and avoid vital structures like nerves and blood vessels. This additional safety measure incurs extra costs, which may not be included in dental treatments offered abroad.

In conclusion, while there are reputable clinics and skilled clinicians worldwide, dental treatments in the UK tend to be more expensive due to rigorous regulation, higher staffing costs, the UK’s higher cost of living, and the inclusion of advanced computer-guided procedures. These factors contribute to the overall higher standards and increased costs associated with dental treatment in the UK.

The duration of a full jaw dental implant procedure can vary depending on various factors, including the patient’s individual case, treatment plan, and the technique used. However, with the Forever Full Jaw Dental Implants technique, which utilizes stackable guide technology, the placement of implants and fixed teeth can typically be accomplished in one hour or less per jaw in 95% of cases that require it. This efficient and streamlined approach has revolutionized the full mouth dental implant procedure, significantly reducing the time required for treatment.

The full jaw dental implant procedure is typically performed under local anesthesia, ensuring that you will not experience any pain during the procedure itself. The use of anesthesia helps numb the surgical area and ensures your comfort throughout the process.

After the procedure, it is normal to experience some discomfort and swelling, which can be managed with pain medications prescribed by your dentist. However, individual experiences may vary, and some patients may have minimal discomfort or pain during the recovery period.

Your dental team will provide you with detailed post-operative instructions and may recommend certain measures to help minimize discomfort, such as using cold compresses and following a soft diet for a few days.

It’s important to communicate with your dentist about any concerns or questions you may have regarding pain management during and after the procedure. They will be able to provide you with the appropriate guidance and ensure your comfort throughout the full jaw dental implant process.

The recovery period after a full jaw dental implant procedure can vary depending on various factors, including the individual’s healing ability, the extent of the procedure, and any potential complications. Generally, it takes several months for the implants to fully integrate with the jawbone.

In the immediate days following the procedure, you may experience some swelling, discomfort, and possible bruising in the treated area. These symptoms can be managed with pain medications and cold compresses as recommended by your dentist. It is also common to have dietary restrictions during the initial healing phase, such as sticking to a soft food diet to protect the implants.

Over the next few weeks and months, the jawbone will gradually fuse with the implants in a process called osseointegration. During this time, it is essential to follow your dentist’s instructions regarding oral hygiene practices, such as gentle brushing and avoiding any activities that may put excessive pressure on the implants.

The complete healing and integration of the implants typically take several months. During this period, you will have follow-up appointments with your dentist to monitor the progress and ensure proper healing.

It’s important to note that the exact recovery period can vary for each individual, and your dentist will provide personalized guidance based on your specific case. By closely following your dentist’s instructions and maintaining good oral hygiene, you can support the healing process and achieve successful outcomes with your full jaw dental implants

The success rate of full jaw dental implants is generally high, with reported success rates ranging from 90% to 98%. However, it’s important to note that the success rate can vary depending on several factors, including the patient’s overall health, oral hygiene habits, bone quality, and the skill and experience of the dental team performing the procedure.

Factors that can contribute to a successful outcome include proper treatment planning, precise implant placement, good oral hygiene practices, and adherence to post-operative instructions. Additionally, having sufficient bone volume and density in the jaw is crucial for long-term implant success.

While full jaw dental implants have a high success rate, there is always a small risk of complications, such as implant failure, infection, or tissue inflammation. Regular follow-up visits with your dental team and maintaining good oral hygiene practices are essential for early detection and management of any potential issues.

It’s important to have a thorough consultation with your dentist or oral surgeon to evaluate your individual case, assess your suitability for full jaw dental implants, and discuss the expected success rate based on your specific circumstances. They will be able to provide you with more personalized information and address any concerns you may have regarding the success of the procedure

Caring for and maintaining your full jaw dental implants is crucial for their long-term success and your oral health. Here are some essential care guidelines:

  1. Oral Hygiene: Practice good oral hygiene by brushing your teeth at least twice a day with a soft-bristle toothbrush and a non-abrasive toothpaste. Pay special attention to the implant-supported teeth, ensuring that you clean all surfaces thoroughly. Use dental floss or interdental brushes to clean between the implants and the surrounding gums.

  2. Specialized Tools: Consider using oral hygiene aids specifically designed for dental implants, such as low-abrasive toothpaste, antimicrobial mouthwashes, and floss/threaders designed for implant-supported restorations. Your dentist can recommend suitable products for your specific needs.

  3. Regular Dental Visits: Maintain regular dental check-ups and professional cleanings. Your dentist will monitor the health of your implants, perform necessary examinations, and clean areas that are difficult to reach at home. They may also take X-rays periodically to assess the condition of the implants and surrounding bone.

  4. Avoid Damaging Habits: Refrain from habits that can put excessive stress on your dental implants, such as chewing on hard objects (e.g., ice, pens) or using your teeth to open packages. Additionally, avoid tobacco products and excessive alcohol consumption, as they can impact the health of your gums and bone.

  5. Protect from Trauma: Take precautions to protect your dental implants from potential trauma. For example, if you participate in contact sports or activities with a risk of facial injury, consider using a mouthguard or other protective gear.

  6. Maintain Overall Health: Good overall health supports the success of dental implants. Eat a balanced diet, exercise regularly, and avoid habits detrimental to oral and general health, such as smoking.

  7. Address Concerns Promptly: If you notice any changes in the appearance or comfort of your dental implants, such as pain, swelling, or loosening of the restorations, contact your dentist promptly. Early intervention can prevent potential complications.

Remember to follow the specific instructions provided by your dental team, as they may have additional recommendations based on your unique situation. By maintaining proper oral hygiene and seeking regular professional care, you can help ensure the long-term success and longevity of your full jaw dental implants.

While full jaw dental implants provide a strong and durable solution for tooth replacement, it’s important to be mindful of your eating habits to protect your implants and maintain their long-term success. Here are some considerations:

  1. Healing Phase: During the initial healing phase after the implant procedure, you may have dietary restrictions. Your dentist will provide specific guidelines, but it generally involves consuming soft or pureed foods to avoid putting excessive pressure on the implants during the initial healing process. This phase typically lasts a few weeks.

  2. Avoid Hard or Sticky Foods: Even after the initial healing phase, it’s advisable to avoid hard, crunchy, or sticky foods that could potentially damage or dislodge the implant-supported restorations. Examples include hard candies, ice cubes, popcorn kernels, and sticky candies or chewing gum.

  3. Chew on Opposite Side: When eating, distribute the force of chewing evenly on both sides of your mouth, especially if you have implant-supported restorations on only one side. This helps prevent excessive stress on the implants.

  4. Cut Food into Smaller Pieces: Cutting your food into smaller, bite-sized pieces can make it easier to chew and minimize strain on the implants.

  5. Be Cautious with Tough Meats: Tough meats can be challenging to chew and may put strain on your implants. Consider choosing softer cuts of meat or opting for alternative protein sources that are easier to chew.

  6. Healthy Diet Choices: Maintain a balanced and nutritious diet to support overall oral and general health. Include a variety of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains to provide essential nutrients for optimal healing and oral health.

It’s important to note that the specific dietary recommendations may vary based on your individual case and the type of implant-supported restorations you have. Your dentist will provide personalized guidelines and advise you on any dietary restrictions during the healing phase.

By being mindful of your eating habits and following the recommendations of your dental team, you can help ensure the longevity and stability of your full jaw dental implants.

The cost of full jaw dental implants can vary depending on several factors, including the geographic location, the complexity of the case, the number of implants required, the type of implant system used, the need for additional procedures (such as bone grafting), and the expertise of the dental team. It’s important to note that the prices can vary significantly between different dental practices and regions.

We offer fixed fee pricing of £8,995 for a single jaw and £16,995 for both jaws, with a £950 supplement for  IV sedation if required provided by an anesthetist.

Remember that the cost of dental implants represents a long-term investment in your oral health and quality of life. It’s essential to prioritize the expertise and qualifications of the dental team, the quality of the implant system used, and the level of patient care provided, in addition to considering the cost. By choosing a reputable and experienced dental provider, you can have confidence in the outcome of your full jaw dental implant procedure.
