Our approach
Forever Dental and Skin maintains safe systems of work to protect patients, visitors and the dental team. Our health and safety arrangements cover infection prevention, equipment maintenance, fire safety, medical emergencies, waste handling, hazardous substances, radiation protection and team training.
Infection prevention standards
We follow recognised dental infection prevention procedures, including HTM 01-05 decontamination guidance, universal precautions and current clinical protocols. These standards are applied before, during and after treatment.
- Treatment rooms are cleaned and disinfected between patients.
- Reusable dental instruments are cleaned, inspected, sterilised and stored appropriately.
- Single-use items are disposed of safely after use.
- Clinical waste is segregated, stored and collected in line with waste management requirements.
- Personal protective equipment is used where clinically required.
- Dental unit waterlines are flushed, maintained and tested as part of infection control procedures.
- Team members receive training and follow practice policies for infection prevention and safety.
